Heavy rain in the state

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 27: Rain occurred at most places in Kerala and isolated places in Lakshadweep, local weather office said today.

Kottayam, Minicoy and Punalur recorded the hightest rainfall of 5 cm each.

The other chief amout of rainfall recorded in cm were Konny and Varkala four each, CIAL, Kochi three and Kozhikode, Nilampur and Alappuzha two each.

Rain would occur at most places in the state and at a few places in the Uniion Territory during the next 48 hours, it added.
