Farmer injured in elephant attack
Kolhapur, Apr 27 (UNI) A farmer was seriously injured after being attacked by a wild elephant near Jangamhattee village in Chandgad tehsil of this district today.
The farmer has been identified as Babu Kamble. He was working in his farm when the elephant attacked him, forest department officials and police sources said.
The seriously injured Kamble, who fell unconscious after the attack, has been rushed to the civil hospital at Belgaum, sources added.
