Explosives seized in huge quantity
Dehri-On-Sone, Apr 27 (UNI) Police recovered a huge quantity of explosives planted by Maoists near Kodiyari valley in Rohtas district today.
Superintendent of Police J S Gangwar here said the explosives were seized during raids conducted under special drive launched against the ultras in the district.
He said the explosives, planted at two different places on the roads, were kept in two canes.
One of the cane contained 70 kg explosives while the other had 35 kg in it.
Mr Gnagwar said the timely action of the police foiled the attempt of the rebels, which could have resulted into a major incident.
