Police present challan in court in murder case
Srinagar Apr 26 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today presented a challan in a south Kashmir court in a murder case, a police spokesman said.
He said Om Bahadur Thapa, a resident of Gurkha Nagar, Jammu, was murdered by some unidentified people early this year in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
A case under FIR 89/2008 under section 302 and 34 of the RPC was registered.
Since there was no clue about the murder, a team was formed to investigate the case.
Later, two people, Hamid Nissar Shah and Imran Ahmad, were arrested.
During interrogation both the accused confessed to their involvement in the murder of Thapa.
He said a challan was produced before the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag.
