Nitish responsible for dissidence in Bihar unit of NDA:NCP
Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) The NCP today held Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar responsible for growing resentment among some ministers and NDA MLAs after the recent cabinet expansion.
NCP state president Upendra Kushwaha told UNI that Mr Kumar had given false assurance to several NDA MLAs on providing ministerial berths during cabinet expansion on April 14.
''It is the reflection of the personality and working style of Mr Kumar as he hardly cares to fulfil the commitments made to his colleagues,'' he said adding all sections of the society were not given due representation during the cabinet expansion.
When asked about growing resentment in BJP after cabinet expansion, Mr Kushwaha said the BJP had been reduced to the 'B team' of JD(U) during the Nitish Kumar regime.
''Mr Kumar is also responsible for the crisis in the BJP as alleged by some BJP leaders.
''Mr Kumar wants to emerge as a strong leader in Bihar and tries to sabotage the chances of others aspring to establish themselves as mass leaders,'' he charged adding dissidence in the NDA would cost it dearly in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Some ministers who were performing well had either been dropped or were shunted, he noted.
Mr Kushwaha alleged that corruption and unemployment were on the rise during the Nitish Kumar regime despite its claim of providing good governance. He announced that his party would launch agitation to protest the failure of the NDA government in checking corruptions and providing employment to youths.
