Illicit weapon keeper sent behind bars for 3 yrs

Sitapur, Apr 26 (UNI) A Fast Track Court here today handed down three years of jail term to a person, accused of keeping illicit weapons.

According to the prosecution, on April 7, 2007, police had arrested Imran Ansari with a pistol and cartridges near Atariya railway station.

The Court pronounced punishment to Ansari after finding him guilty.

Besides, a penalty of Rs 5,000 was imposed on him.
