Gulbarga and Raichur records maximum temp. of 40.1 deg. Celsius

Bangalore, Apr 26 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Karkala 3; Darmasthala, Belgaum AP 2 each; Mudibidre 1.

Maximum Temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over the State. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga&Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.1 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over all districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature likely to be around 35 degree Celsius.
