Girl injured by pellets fired by miscreants trying to molest her

New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) A 19-year-old girl was injured after her alleged molestors fired in the air while fleeing in Seelampur area of east Delhi this afternoon.

According to sources, Tabbassum was 'attacked' by four-five boys at her residence and hearing the commotion her uncle came and raised an alarm.

Soon after when neighbours gathered the boys fled the scene.

While fleeing, one of them fired in the air of which some pellets hit the girl.

The girl later told the police that these boys had been harassing her for the last couple of days and she did not know them.

However, she added that she could identify them by face.

Police said search was on for the accused.
