Two drown in village pond

Bhuj, Apr 25 (UNI) A 55-year-old woman and her daughter drowned in a pond in Sumarusal village, 20 kms away from here today.

The deceased, Dhanbha Sulaiman Jat and Jalubha Sulaiman Jat (13) had gone to the pond for cleaning their clothes, when the incident took place, police said.

Their bodies were recovered by villagers from the pond, police added.
