Three youth from city drown in Cauvery river
Mandya, Apr 25 (UNI) Three youth aged between 21 and 22 years from Bangalore were feared drowned in the Cauvery river at Muthatti about 70 km from here today.
Halagur police said the mishap occurred when the trio, final year BBM students of BTL College in the state capital, had come on an excursion and went for a swim but drowned this morning.
They were identified as Gunadish Reddy, Raghunath and Krishna Kumar.
The bodies were yet to be traced, police added.
