Seven killed in road accident
Mahaboobnagar, Apr 25 (UNI) Seven people were killed and two others seriously injured when an autorickshaw, in which they were travelling, collided with a lorry near Appannapalli at Mahaboobnagar Mandal in this district of Andhra Pradesh today.
Police said the accident occurred when nine people were proceeding in the autorickshaw from here to Jedcherla while the lorry, going in the opposite direction, killing four people on the spot.
Three others succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
The injured were taken to Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad where their condition was stated to be serious, police added.
