Senior Insurance official commits suicide

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Apr 25 (UNI) A senior official of the National Insurance Company B B Batra committed suicide at his residence in Samadhan Colony here today, police said.

Batra, who was working as a divisional manager of the company, had left a suicide note, addressed to his wife, son and daughter, who are settled in Pune, saying he was sorry for taking the extreme step.

When some officials came to inquire about his health as he was not attending office, they found his body hanging from the roof, police sources said.
