Rectified spirit meant for smuggling to Kerala seized

Theni, Tamil Nadu, Apr 25 (UNI) A special police team seized 110 cans of rectified spirit, meant for smuggling to Kerala, at Kondamanaickenpatti village near Andipatti, here today.

Police sources said that on a tip off, the special police team intercepted a lorry, transporting the rectified spirit, worth Rs ten lakh, to Pathanamthitta in Kerala.

The driver and cleaner of the lorry were arrested.
