No anti-incumbency in Chhattisgarh: CM
Raipur, Apr 25 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has claimed that no anti-incumbency wave existed against his more than four-year-old government.
''I conducted meetings in villages, spent hours among common people, heard their demands and approved many of those,'' he told reporters here last night after four days of tours under a 'Gram Suraaj' campaign that aimed at a spot-on verification of developmental work.
Admitting to receiving complaints of less wages being paid at some places under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), Dr Singh added that the margin was only two to three rupees.
