Licences of 3 vaccine manufacturing PSUs cancelled
New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) The licenses of three-vaccine manufacturing public sector units including the Kasauli-based Central Research Institute in Himachal Pradesh, have been cancelled and ordered to suspend production, the Rajya Sabha was informed today.
Besides CRRI, the Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu and BCG Lab Guindy, Chennai were found to be not complying with good manufacturing practices as provided under Schedule M of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules.
This information was given by Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Panabaaka Lakshmi in a written reply.
