Lashkar militant surrenders in Jammu

Kishtwar, Jammu, Apr 25 (UNI) A Lashkar-e-Toiba militant today surrendered with arms and ammunition before the Army in Mahore tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, a Defence spokesperson said.

LeT militant, Hamza alias Shamsher (Call Sign 48), surrendered before 59 Rashtriya Rifles (Assam) in Gulbargh area of Mahore, Defence spokesperson Lt Col S D Goswani told UNI.

The militant also handed over one AK-47 rifle, 31 rounds and a binocular to the Rashtriya Rifles, Lt Col Goswani added.
