Kadam, Khadse table privilege motions against Purke, Patil

Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Ramdas Kadam today tabled a privilege motion against School Education Minister Vasant Purke for announcing in the Legislative Council about the inclusion of sex education in school curriculum.

Mr Kadam said the announcement should have been made in Assembly first.

Meanwhile, BJP group leader Eknath Khadse also tabled a privilege motion against Finance Minister Jayant Patil and the Sales Tax Commissioner. Mr Khadse said that although the e-tax system was announced in the state budget, yet the details were available on the internet even before the budget announcements.
