IMFL worth Rs 9 lakh seized

Davanagere, Apr 25: Police have seized 630 boxes of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth about Rs Nine lakh in a raid conducted on three houses near Harapanahalli last night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police N Lingareddy today said that on getting a tip raid was conducted simultaneously on three houses in different lambani thandas and seized the liquor stored illegally.

However, the culprits have escaped after seeing the arrival of police.
