Gulbarga records highest temperature of 41.5 degree Celsius
Bangalore, Apr 25 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and a isolated places over South Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Laxmeshwar, Holaikere 3 each; Ankola, Manchikere, Mundagod, Kundagol, Linganamakki, Shikaripur, Bhadravathi, Honnali 2 each; Gerusoppa, Bansavasi, Siddapura, Bhatkal, Kirvatti, Hukkeri, Ranebennur, Shirahatti, Gadag, Haveri, Talaguppa, Tyagarthi, Mudigere, Arsikere, Bellary 1 each.
Maximum Temperatures fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.5 degree Celsius over the State.
