Govinda's bodyguard attacked, one held
Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) Police here today arrested one person for allegedly attacking film actor and Parliamentarian Govinda's bodyguard Chandrakant Mokal.
According to Oshiwara police sources, Govinda was shooting for a film at City Mall here. Some shopkeepers were opposed to the shooting and Mokal was allegedly attacked, sources said, adding a person named Aman Gajir has been arrested. Police are on the lookout for one more person in this connection.
The film was being shot since morning and a large number of people had gathered to watch the shoot, thereby inconveniencing the shop-keepers, sources said. A film camera was also damaged in the scuffle, police said.
Mokal allegedly had a tiff with some of the shop-keepers at the mall over the matter. Following this, Govinda had intervened but the issue had only become more serious, police said.
