Geelani under house arrest, two senior leaders detained in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 25 (UNI) Chairman of the breakaway Hurriyat Conference (HC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani was today put under house arrest to prevent him from addressing an anti-election rally in south Kashmir while two other senior leaders of the amalgam were detained in north Kashmir.

Official sources said police today took into preventive custody two senior leaders of breakaway HC General Moosa and Mohammad Ashraf Laya at Mirgund when they were on way to Baramulla to address anti election rally.
