Era Infra Engineering bags order worth Rs 61 cr

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Era Infra Engineering Ltd (EIEL), a flagship company of Era Group, today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 61 crore from Lanco Infratech Ltd for its thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh.

''EIFL has secured order from the EPC division of Lanco Infratech for General Civil Works I and III Packages for 2 X 600 MW Lanco Anpara Thermal Power Project, Anpara, Sonebhadra District, UP,'' the company said in a statement.

The contract, which is scheduled to be completed by July 2009, involves the construction of equipment foundations, sub-structure of main plant building, boiler and ESP area.

The scope of work also involves general civil works, architectural finishes and sanitary works, connecting road and drain works pertaining to coal and Ash Handling Plant.

With this, the order backlog for the Era group stands at Rs 4,792 crore, the statement added.
