Couple murdered in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, Apr 25: A government school teacher and his wife were allegedly murdered with a sharp edged weapon at their residence in Machiwara town of the district last night, police said today.

According to the police, the dead bodies of the victims with multiple wounds were discovered this morning by a neighbour who informed the police. The deceased couple was identified as Amritpal Singh (49), a government school teacher and his wife Gurpreet Kaur.

The children of the couple were not at home when the incident occurred. The police have registered a case and investigating was on.
