Commission on administrative reforms submits report
Chennai, Apr 25 (UNI) Former Judge of the Madras High Court, Justice A K Rajan who headed a Commission to suggest administrative reforms, today submitted his report to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
The Commission was constituted by the Government in March last year to make recommendations for providing a transparent and a corruption-free governance, right from the Secretariat to a tiny hamlet in the State.
The Commission had met the heads of all the departments and held detailed discussions to encourage transparency in administration, remove corruption and abolish red-tapism.
It also held discussions with Vellore, Salem, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli and Tirunelveli district authorities, before finalising its report.
