CBI for sealing properties of kidney scam kingpin
Ambala, Apr 25 (UNI) The special CBI court fixed May 9 as the next date of hearing in the kidney scam case even as the CBI moved an application for sealing the properties of Dr Amit Kumar, the prime accused.
All the 14 accused facing the trial were present in the court today.
The CBI moved an application for sealing the properties of Dr Amit Kumar. The application stated that Kumar's property whether in India or in other countries, including Canada and other places should be sealed.
Co-accused Dr Dhirender, Gyasuddin and Benarsi Das, also moved a bail application in the court.
Ms Puja, already on interim bail, and another accused filed applications for release of their cars on 'supurdari'. All the 14 accused persons including four doctors are facing trial in the kidney scam case .
