Budget session prorogued, Monsoon session from July 14

Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) The Budget session of the Maharashtra legislature, which commenced on March 10, prorogued today after 31 days of sittings.

The prorogue order was read out by Speaker Babasaheb Kupekar in the Assembly and Shivajirao Deshmukh in the Council.

During the period, it passed 21 Bills, making the Session the longest one in the recent past.

The Monsoon Session will commence from July 14.
