Body recovered from river

Jamshedpur, Apr 25 (UNI) Police today recovered a body from the Subarnarekha river under Sonari police station here.

They said the deceased had been identified as one Ashif Khan (22), who went missing since the evening of April 22 from Dhatkidih area.

Ashif was suspected to have been kidnapped and murdered by Kallu Ghosh and Sarfaraz.

The victim's family members had loged an FIR against the duo with the Bistupur police station on April 23, after which tension prevailed in the area.

The District Administration had to deploy RAF following a violent group clash.

Six people including, the duo, were arrested.

The body was sent for post-mortem, the police said.
