Bharti Airtel Q4 net up 39.27% to Rs 1,792.30 cr

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Bharti Airtel Ltd today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 increased 39.27 per cent to Rs 1,792.30 crore as compared to Rs 1,286.84 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company said its total revenue for the quarter witnessed a hike of 41.82 per cent to Rs 7,446.8 crore as against Rs 5,250.77 crore for the same period a year ago.

Bharti's net profit for the year ended March 31, 2008 grew 54.81 per cent to Rs 6,244.20 crore, whereas it was Rs 4,033.22 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.

Its total revenue for FY08 increased 45 per cent to Rs 25,939.37 crore from Rs 17,887.99 crore a year ago.
