Another measles vaccination death

Chennai, Apr 25 (UNI) Close on the heels of the tragic death of four infants in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu after being administered measles vaccine on April 23, another child died after being administered the vaccine in Dharmapuri.

A report from Dharmapuri said na 11-month-old child swooned yesterday night soon after it was administered the vaccine. The child was rushed to the Dharmapuri Government Hospital and later to a hospital in Salem, where he died.

Anusuya, mother of the child, said she lost her son after he was given the measles vaccine.
