Anonymous bomb call to Railway Nilayam proves to be hoax

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) An anonymous call, stating that a bomb was planted at the Rail Nilayam, the headquarters of the South Central Railway here, turned out to be a hoax today.

According to official sources, the General Manager's office received the anonymous call, stating that a bomb was planted in the office and it could go off at any moment.

Authorities informed the police, who pressed into service the bomb disposal squad, along with sniffer dogs. The entire area was thoroughly checked, but no explosive material could be found.
