3 Suspected militants shot dead

Imphal, Apr 25: Three suspected militants were gunned down by Police Commandos during an encounter at Langol Games Village here last night, police said today.

They said three pistols were recovered from the slain militants who were yet to be identified.

Their bodies were kept at the RIMS morgue, Imphal, for identification and post mortem, they said.

Police also nabbed a cadre of People's Liberation Army yesterday and recovered one 9 mm pistol with a magazine loaded with 9 live rounds of ammunition
