UNPA, Left leaders court arrest

New Delhi, Apr 19, 2008 : Indian Left leaders up the ante on the price rise issue and were court arrest, raising their voice against their ruling allies and joining the opposition United National Progressive Alliance or UNPA party members.

Indian Left allies on April 19 took to the streets along with the UNPA party members to launch a strong protest against the ruling government. And when the protesters turned violent, police took them away by force in a bus.
