Teenager dies MP in fire

Dewas, MP, Apr 24 (UNI) A teenaged girl died of burns in an attempt to rescue her goats from a fire that broke out in her house at this district's Sonkitch town, police said today.

The Fire broke out in the house of Farzand Ali and the flames engulfed the adjacent house of his brother Zafar Hussain at 2300 hrs last night. Mr Hussain's daughter Rukhsana sustained serious burn injuries and died on the spot.

The cause of the fire was not yet known. There was an estimated loss of more than Rs three lakh, the police added.
