Spices and grains worth lakhs reduced to ashes in fire

Rajkot, Apr 24 (UNI) Spices and grains worth lakhs, were reduced to ashes in a major fire that broke at Masala Market, temporarily erected stalls in Party Plot for the sale of seasonal goods, here.

The incident occurred last night, when few people from a marriage party were bursting fire crackers near the area and one of the crackers fell into the temporary market, sources said.

It took an hour for seven fire-fighters to put out the flames, the fire brigade officials said.

No injuries were reported, the officials added.
