Shahabuddin gets bail in stolen motorcycle recovery case
Siwan, Apr 24 (UNI) A local court today granted bail to incarcerated RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin in connection with recovery of a stolen motorcycle from his ancestral residence at Pratappur village in Siwan district.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Gyaneshwar Srivastava granted bail to RJD MP after hearing the arguments from his counsel and the prosecution.
According to the charges, a stolen motorcycle was recovered from Pratappur-based ancestral residence of Mohammad Shahabuddin during a raid in February 2006.
A case in this connection was lodged with Hussainganj police station.
Mohammad Shahabuddin was presently lodged in Siwan jail in connection with several criminal cases, including the kidnaping -cum- murder case, in which he was awarded life term.
