Rebel group of BJP meets Kalraj
Patna, Apr 24(UNI) The rebel BJP group, including some ministers and MLAs, today closetted with Mr Kalraj Mishra, MP, the in-charge of political affairs of Bihar, who airdashed here last night to resolve the crisis following the recent expansion of Nitish Kumar cabinet.
There was confusion in the party following the recent sacking and reshuffling of some ministers. Cold water was poured on the aspirations of some MLAs after they failed to get ministerial berths in the expanded cabinet and had raised their voice of ''displeasure and discontentment'' against the BJP leaders.
Mr Mishra who met the leaders, activists and the ministers from the partyfold in the state BJP headquarters, had to face a tough time because of the mounting tension following the dropping and reshuffling of the ministers in the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar. Mr Mishra, however, gave patient hearing to the rebel group and listened to their grievances in one-on-one meeting with the disappointed group.
The in-charge of the Bihar affairs of the party who came here on the directions of central leaders also closetted with the ministers from the BJP camp and tried to pacify them.
