Principal, 4 teachers accused of rape attempt on colleague

Lunavada, Gujarat, Apr 24 (UNI) A school teacher has accused the principal and four other colleagues of attempting to outrage her modesty at Navajivan school of Thana Savali village, here.

According to a complaint lodged today by the victim -- Daksha Amin-Vanakar (39) -- principal Amrut Patel had sought sexual favours, which she had turned down. Subsequntly, the principal started harassing her.

She also accused four other colleagues -- Vijay Patel, Dahyabhai Vanakar, Ambalal Patel and Ravaji Patel -- of attempting to assault her.

The victim lodged the complaint with Kothamba police station.
