Prime accused in JEE question paper leak case remanded

Ghatal, Apr 24 (UNI) A local court today remanded Manash Patra, the prime accused in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) question paper leak case, to 14-day police custody.

The police remand of the accused was prayed by the CID in the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate court.

Earlier, Inspector, CID, Kharagpur, Purna Shib Mukherjee brought Manash to Ghatal from Ramrajatala, where he was arrested yesterday.

Mr Mukharjee said Manash would be interrogated tonight as part of further investigation.
