NCP to field ex-Mayor Sanjiv Ganesh for bypoll

New Delhi, Apr 24: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has decided to field the ex-Mayor of Navi Mumbai, Mr Sanjiv Ganesh Naik, for contesting the byelection to the Lok Sabha from Thane constituency in Maharashtra.

The decision was taken in the recently held meeting of the Office Bearers (CPB) of NCP, a party release said here today.
