Killers of Dwarka property dealer arrested
New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Police have arrested three people in connection with the kidnapping for ransom of a property dealer in south-west Delhi's Dwarka area.
Chhattar Singh Jain(46), Manoj Kumar (31) and Miraj Hussain Khan (29) were arrested by Crime Branch sleuths following investigations over a fortnight when the family of the property dealer Balbir Singh, received the fist ransom call of Rs one crore, police said today.
The car used in the crime, mobile phone of the dealer and three mobile phones of the accused were seized during investigations.
Balbir Singh was a close friend of key conspirator Chhattar Singh Jain, a businessman.
The accused after 'kidnapping' the dealer drugged him and strangled him before defacing him and dumping his body in a field in Rohtak, Haryana.
Balbir was reported missing by his wife, Kusumlata, on March 24.
