Governor makes aerial survey for proposed Trans-Arunachal Highway
Itanagar, Apr 24 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor General(Retd) J J Singh made an aerial survey for the proposed Trans-Arunachal Highway project that would pass through four districts of the state.
The proposed highway would pass through Lower Subansiri, Upper Subansiri, West Siang and East Siang districts, official sources here today said.
The Governor, accompanied with wife Anupama Singh, landed at Pasighat yesterday and discussed with deputy commissioner of East Siang district and other high government officials, regarding infrastructural development of existing Pasighat airport besides, horticultural prospect of the district.
Mr Singh was also looking at the tourism potential in the Siang Valley, sources added.
