Four Lankan Tamils take refuge in Mandapam Refugee Camp
Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, Apr 24 (UNI) Four Sri Lankan nationals, including three women, took refuge in the Special Refugee Camp built to accomodate Indian Tamils at Mandapam, here today.
Official sources told UNI that the four efugees, hailing from Vavuniya and Trincomalee regions of the Island nation, arrived in Tamil Nadu recently with valid documents.
They arrived here this evening and registered their names with the authorities of the Special Refugee Camp. Later, they were housed at the camp, the sources added.
