Father, three sons burnt alive in chitrakoot

Chitrakoot, Apr 24(UNI) A father and his three sons were burnt alive in mysterious circumstances in Rajapur area of the district today.

While the police said that it might be a case of suicide but the villagers claimed that it was a case of murder.

Sriram(55), along with his sons Manish(6),Anesh(9) and Ashish(15) were charred to death when they were sleeping near their field at Pandeypur village under Rajapur police station area.

Police sources said the bodies have been sent for postmortem and preleminary investigation shows that it might be a case of suicide.

However, local villages say that it was a case of land dispute in which son of Sriram was killed way back and the accused is under judicial custody.

'' It might be a revenge by the people who were behind the killing of Sriram's son'', the villagers said.
