DDRC to be made more effective: DC

Shimla, Apr 24 (UNI) In order to make District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) more efficient and effective, district management committee review meeting was held here today.

Presiding over the meeting, Shimla Deputy Commissioner J S Rana said district administration and district welfare department would provide all possible assistance for the smooth functioning of the DDRC and efforts would be made to extend its activities to the needy up to grassroots.

The Deputy Commissioner said as per Memorandum, the DDRC would be made fully functional by the IGMC and Hospital Welfare Society.
