Cyprus couple deported back to Bahrain

Kochi, Apr 24 (UNI) Two Cyprus nationals, who arrived in the Kochi International Airport at Nedumbassery near here from Bahrain as tourists, were deported back this evening.

Seraphim Kyriacos and his wife Avvhi Seraphim reached here by Jet Aiways flight '9W593' at 1720 hrs. But the emigration personnel found that the couple were not possessing visa and other documents.

The tourists were falsely convinced reportedly by their travel agents, that facilities like 'Visa on Arrival' were available at the Kochi International Airport.

The emigration personnel deported the couple back to Bahrain by Jet Airways flight at 1810 hrs.
