Central Bank Q4 net dips 56.72%
New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) Central Bank of India today said its net profit dipped 56.72 per cent to Rs 64.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 149.13 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
Its total income, however, surged 30.36 per cent to Rs 2,598.92 crore for Q4FY08 as against Rs 1,993.54 crore for the same period a year ago.
The Bank's net profit dipped 2.11 per cent to Rs 487.5 crore for FY08 as compared to Rs 498.01 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
Its total income, however, increased 27.83 per cent to Rs 8,786.61 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2008 as against Rs 6873.19 crore for FY07.
