2 women among 3 charred to death

Azamgarh, Apr 24 (UNI) At least three people, including two women, were charred in a fire incident in Ronapar area here this afternoon.

According to police, short-circuit caused the fire that also engulfed 12 huts of Devrakhas Raja village.

The deceased included Patiraj Yadav (58), Gomti Devi(30) and Shobha Devi (30).

One other sustained severe burns in the incident.

The blaze was extinguished after fire fighters were pressed into service.
