UP faces heat; temp at 43 degrees C

Lucknow, Apr 23: Hot weather conditions continue in Uttar Pradesh as temperature hover around 43 degrees.

With increaing mercury level and scorching sun at noon, people are posed with hardship and prefer to stay indoors.

According to Met department, in the last 24 hrs, a remarkable increase in day temperature, including the state capital, was recorded in Kanpur, Moradabad, Varanasi, Faizabad, Bareilly, Agra and Meerut divisions.

However, Banda was the hottest at 43.2 degrees celsius, which is three notches above the normal, whereas, Varanasi was 43.1 degrees C, Allahabad 42.3, Kanpur 41.8, Agra 42.4 and Meerut 40.4 Bareilly 41.4 and Jhansi 42.2 degrees Celcius.

Meanwhile, the Met department has predicted dry weather in the next 24 hrs.
