Two youths get life imprisonment for murder

Kolhapur, Apr 23 (UNI) A local court today sentenced two youths to life imprisonment for murdering a 50-year-old man in Shirol area, near here, in December 2006 over a monetary dispute.

District Additional Sessions Judge S M Gavane found Maruti Ananda Gosawi (24) from Yavaluj in Panhala tehsil and his relative Limbapuri Ananda Gosawi (21) of Shiya in Karvir tehsil, guilty under sections 302 and 34 of Indian Penal Code for murdering Satruddin Hujur Khan and awarded the sentence.

Khan was providing labour to the industrial units and the two were working for him, but money dispute between Khan and the duo resulted in his murder on December 21, 2006.

A total ten witnesses were examined in the case.
