Two labourers asphyxiated to death from gas emission

Bhagalpur, Apr 23 (UNI) In all, two labourers died and one fell unconscious after inhaling gas emitted from a well at Khajuria village under Sanokha police station in the district today.

Police said three labourers fell victims to the gas emitted from a well, which was being used as a dumping ground, when they were cleaning it this morning.

While two of them died on the way to hospital, the third person is presently under treatment, police said, adding that the matter was being investigated.
